Residence permit for owners (authors) of Start-up projects, specialists, highly qualified specialists under the EU Blue Card program, their family members:

  • residence permit for authors & co-authors of innovative Start-up projects - owners of newly created companies,
  • residence permit for specialists, provided that the employer is a recognized sponsor,
  • EU Blue Card for highly qualified specialists,
  • status of permanent residence after 5 years of residence in the country,
  • the possibility of applying for citizenship after 5 years of continuous residence (knowledge of the language, integration diploma).

Conditions for obtaining a residence permit:

  • sufficient financial resources
  • housing in the Netherlands (long term rental or property),
  • medical insurance,
  • no threat to public order and security.

 

Residence permit for authors & co-authors of innovative Start-up projects - owners of newly created companies:

  • cooperation with a reliable and experienced mentor (authorized business incubator),
  • product or service must be innovative,
  • a step-by-step business plan for the transition from idea to business,
  • the entrepreneur and mentor are registered at the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce,
  • there are sufficient financial resources to implement the project and live in the Netherlands,
  • residence permit is issued for a period of 1 year and is extended for 2 years subject to the positive conclusion of the mentor,
  • family members (spouse, registered partner and children under the age of 18) receive a residence permit without the right to work for the duration of the residence permit of the main applicant.

Residence permit for specialists, provided that the employer is a recognized sponsor:

  • gross monthly salary (including paid leave of 8%):
  • 4 thousand 580 euro for workers over the age of 30,
  • 3 thousand 357 euro for workers under the age of 30 years,
  • 2 thousand 407 euro for graduates of a Dutch university with a bachelor's degree and above, regardless of age,
  • issued for up to 4 years,
  • family members (spouse, registered partner and children under the age of 18) receive a residence permit with the right to work for the duration of the residence permit of the main applicant.

EU Blue Card for highly qualified professionals:

  • gross annual salary (including paid leave of 8%) 64 thousand 386 euro,
  • the presence of higher education with a study period of at least 3 years,
  • higher education diploma validation,
  • issued for up to 4 years,
  • family members (spouse, registered partner and children under the age of 18) receive a residence permit with the right to work for the duration of the residence permit of the main applicant.
